It is important to spot when Whimsicott's Tailwind will be needed versus strategic Protects and Fake Outs. Arcanine is a backup coverage win condition that is specifically great against Charizard / Venasaur openings. Dragonite plays well here too as another sweeper option that can double as a wall.
